Remove the root password for mysql login

I somehow managed to enable password for the root user on ubuntu 20.04 so now i get mysql errors when trying to connect to it.

SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Anyone know how i can remove the root password and have it like i had erlier where i could just type "MySql" in ssh and get right in.

What is the "MYSQL COMMAND-LINE" you are using ? Can you connect to the MySQL Server via some other user or some other host ? If YES then Can you try to Execute `"SELECT USER, HOST, PASSWORD FROM MYSQL.USER"` to show that output in your Post ?
