How to launch terminator from the terminal and then close the terminal without closing terminator

il flag

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and I want to run the GNOME terminator from the terminal in a specific folder path and then close the terminal, can you tell me how can I do that please? thanks in advance.

Note: I don't want to make terminator my default bash terminal.

I know there is an answer here about it, but all you should have to do is first run `terminator &` from any directory then in the same old terminal run `disown`.

@Terrance thanks, I confirm that `terminator &` solved my problem, and `disown` solve this issue completely without the `&`.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
