I've just tried the command line approach again. Here are the results:

I did a fresh install on my laptop and I get the same results. The message "snappy kernel-module-control interface not connected" also comes up on my laptop. Why does it not connect ? How do I set about fixing the problem ?

Are you completely sure that you are using Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and not a different release like 22.10? It matters.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
