Im in the same situation. Updated about a week ago and have been troubleshooting ever since. Would love a solution.

UPDATE I found a solution: https://medium.com/@kimiyukiyukawa/installing-rtl8821ce-network-controller-on-ubuntu-335d8ccb8a92

-this will link you to a github site with a master file for the rtl8821ce driver. after downloading the file, extract to downloads and rename file in Downloads folder as suggested.

-before running code the codes provided, you must first clear out the old packages. For this run the following codes:

   $sudo apt remove --purge rtw8821-dkms
   $sudo apt remove --purge rtl8821ce-dkms

Then, to confirm there are no errors, run this code:

   $sudo dpkg --configure -a

Then, run the code suggested on my linked site.

After reboot, I had wifi again. Goodluck.

UPDATE This does not appear to be a perfect fix, as it is from a year ago and my adapter seems to disconnect/reconnect frequently, but at least I have internet now

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
