DNS Servers stuck with ::1

cn flag

I have an issue with a new install of Ubuntu 22.04 desktop.

The wifi worked well until I installed a few applications.

Everything is supposed to be configured with DHCP, however, the only DNS servers that are available are ::1 which don't work.

I have tried to renew the dns server with dhclient -r. After this my DNS servers do show up but the system insists on using ::1

Any help would be appreciated.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
