Merge preceding partition with main partition ubuntu

il flag

I have unallocated space preceding the primary partition (shown in the image below) GParted view

I want to merge that onto the /dev/nvme0n1p3. I searched alot but couldn't find a solution. Is there a way to achieve this without losing data on the /dev/nvme0n1p3 Thanks

Basically, backup, drag your root partition left into the unallocated space, then expand it on the right -- all from an install media since active partitions cannot be so treated.

In GParted select the /dev/nvme0n1p3 partition with a right click. Select Resize/Move and stretch the partition to the left. Click the green check mark to complete.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
