Ubuntu audio and headphones problem coupling

tm flag

I am currently using an Ubuntu operating System (22.04), and sometimes I need to use my headphones to watch videos and so on. The headphones are regular jack headphones.

When the headphones are not in, the speakers' volume is quite low, even though alsamixer is at its max, like all other settings. When I plug in the headphones, the audio streams start to run both in the headphones and in the speakers. Plus, with headphones on my PC, the volume of the speaker is way higher, and when I unplug them, the volume drops again.

I tried to find a solution, but there is nothing that seems to fix this issue.

If you have some idea on how to fix that, you are welcome. I tried to put on alsamixer both Enabled and Disabled the Auto Mute Mode. But nothing really changed.

Any idea?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
