My ubuntu 20.04 LTS started running slow recently without any clear reasons

I'm a student in computer science so I really need my computer to work as fast as possible. Since yesterday, it started to run very slow. Especially when I try to start a new application like a gnome-term or a web browser. Every action, like apt update for example, take 50 times longer than usual without any exageration.

I'm a ubuntu user since now 2 month and everything went well until here. My computer is dual-booted with windows, which seems anormally slow too, making me think that could be an hardware problem. But in other hand, my pc does not have any slowing before I connect to my user after a boot, which could mean there is somehting starting with the user session.

I didn't download new things since yesterday, I tried running ps -edf but im not good enough to know if there is weird things or not. Same when using top, my CPU and my RAM are used less than 20% of their max power.

Thanks in advance if you can help me, I would really appreciate your help.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
