PCManFM - Thumbnailer working for .kra files but not .ora

tz flag

I have the following thumbnailer to create thumbnails for .ora files under /usr/share/thumbnailers/ora.thumbnailer

[Thumbnailer Entry]
TryExec=unzip
Exec=sh -c "unzip -p %i Thumbnails/thumbnail.png > %o"
MimeType=image/openraster

I tested the script and it works fine to extrapolate the thumbnail in the shell.

When I open a folder with an .ora file in PCManFM, however, the thumbnail is not created.

There is no error logged that I could find. It just feels like PCManFM is not running the thumbnailer at all for some reason, although the mime type is correct for the file.

The odd thing is that I have an almost identical thumbnailer for .kra files, and it works perfectly:

[Thumbnailer Entry]
TryExec=unzip
Exec=sh -c "unzip -p %i preview.png > %o"
MimeType=application/x-krita

So I'm not sure why the .ora one is not working.

Does anyone know what could be the cause for the .ora thumbnailer not working?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
