Use Custom DNS for devices connected to hotspot

cx flag

So, I run a WiFi hotspot on my Ubuntu Machine (22.04 LTS). I want to make it so that devices that connect to it will use a custom DNS server. The reason for this is so I don't have to manually configure devices to use the DNS. The hotspot is mainly used for Nintendo DS games to play online after the WFC shutdown, so it should use the following settings to be compatible with the Nintendo DS.

  1. Security must be either WEP or Unsecured. (I go with the latter, since my computer doesn't have a powerful hotspot anyway.)

  2. Primary and secondary DNS must be 178.62.43.212 (Source)

  3. Nintendo DS uses 2.4 GHz WiFi

The problem is that when I go to WiFi hotspot settings to configure it, the selection is grayed out.

Network Settings page.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
