maven is already the newest version (3.6.3-1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 7 not upgraded.

It doesn't seem to find newer versions. Any idea?

Try to do `sudo do-release-upgrade` on the terminal to upgrade the OS. then try to update maven.

You need to install the newest version by yourself.

This may help you to do that.

The apt package isn't updated yet. You either have to wait for this to be updated, or try and find the package from maven themself.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
