Save network connection profile

mp flag

I am connecting from my Ubuntu 22.04 laptop to a jailbroken Kindle via ssh over USB. I can set up the connection by going to Settings - Network - USB ethernet - IPV4 and entering the IP address and subnet mask for the address I want to use for the laptop and switching off DNS. This works fine except after each re-boot Ubuntu has forgotten the profile and I have to set it all up again. This is not a problem right now but in a few months I will have forgotten the IP address I have set up in the Kindle config files and so I would like to be able to save the profile under the name "Kindle" for later use. How do I do that?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
