I can use Cuda and debug for .cu files.

Following instructions here: https://nvidia.github.io/cuda-python/install.html#installing-from-pypi

I did pip install cuda-python which gave me:

cuda-python 11.8.1 pypi_0 pypi

On that page it says, "match the major-minor" so do I need 11.7?

If so, how do I get it?

Download the 11.7 from the Nvidia link https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-11-7-0-download-archive

what I ended up doing was `pip uninstall cuda-python` then `pip install cuda-python==11.7` which seemed to work as I can run the Cuda Numba examples.
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
