Ubuntu 22.10 crashes when waking up from suspend

za flag

Upon waking up from suspend, I get the login screen and am able to type in a password but cannot submit/login. Icons on the login screen are sometimes missing/not loading and I have to force reboot with power button. This seems to happen every time the computer wakes up from suspend.

This is a thinkbook 13s running 22.10 with kernel 6.1.0-060100rc5-generic

The kernel upgrade was required to fix issues with the built in keyboard and touchpad.

Same problem whether using x11 or wayland.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
