Can I Use Nativefier to Create an App that Runs Through My VPN?

in flag

Lately, I have been keeping the VPN extension in my web browser running all the time. But I've started to use nativefier for a number of things, because I like have separate apps for various things—especially email. Now I'm wondering if I need to change my habit entirely, and run my VPN system wide, or if it's possible some how to get run the vpn for each Electron App, since they're all running Chromium under the hood.

From what I understand, there is no plan for Electron to develop support from chrome extensions, so that doesn't seem like a way to do it. I'm open to the simpler, obvious solution, but I'm just curious whether it's possible to do it this way. I'm using NordVPN on Ubuntu 20.4.5.

I'm using PWAs via Brave for everything I can, which, as far as I understand, doesn't create the same problem (though if I'm wrong there, don't hesitate to let me know!).

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
