GNU Radio & feh - .jpg - No Imlib2 loader for that file format

hn flag

I'm currently using the gr-satellites module on Ubuntu 20.04 with GNU Radio 3.10.

I'm new to all of this stuff so bear with me!

I am using a flowchart which creates a string of data decoded from a .wav file, and uses feh to construct it into an image.

It successfully decodes all of the information. This flowgraph is unchanged from the module creator's original example, who I have contacted briefly, verifying the flowgraph works on his machine. When I run it, it gives this error at the end:

feh WARNING: /home/(user)/gr-satellites/images/(my_image).jpg - No Imlib2 loader for that file format

Both feh and imlib2 have all of their dependent / optional packages installed.

When I try and open it with an image viewing software such as EOG, I get the error:

**Error interpreting JPEG image file (Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x00 0x00)**

I'm hoping someone can help! I'm wondering if I need to install an additional loader or something, again apologies if this is a real novice question!

Please let me know if you need any additional information etc.

Is the `file` program able to detect the type (`file /home/(user)/gr-satellites/images/(my_image).jpg`)
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
