How to remove duplicate Ubuntu 22.04 OS?

sx flag

I am running Ubuntu desktop 22.04.1 on a separate 80 gb spare dedicated drive used to get acquainted with Linux. The Version and kernel details are linked below, together with the File Sys and Disks report.

I am concerned that the filesys shows two file systems (although the free space suggests only one ). The second file system relates to use of SNAP,which I have read brings with it other necessary components so that these remain available. There are also two header icons which appear at the top of the Applications page.

Question : Is this a normal installation ?

You're not clear as to what Ubuntu 22 OS you mean, by use of 22 I gather it's Ubuntu Core 22 (not Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Desktop/Server), but you ensure the wanted OS controls the boot process for the machine (*so it'll continue to boot when the other OS is removed*), then just delete the partition used by the unwanted OS. I'd use the *wanted* OS to ensure it's controlled boot, then boot a *live* system to delete the unwanted, but that can too be done using the *wanted* OS (*so the in-use driver will provide some warning*). You didn't specify how your machine boots (uEFI or *legacy*)
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
