How to set up 2 or more Nvidia GPUs to use CUDA for BOINC computing in Ubuntu 20.04.05

ie flag

I'm playing around with donating a lot of computing time to medical research using the Boinc program on Ubuntu Mate 20.04.05.

Parts are: -Asus prime plus b550 full atx motherboard

  • AMD Ryzen 5600X 6 core CPU 32 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (4 Sticks)
  • EVGA RTX 2060 GPU x1

I have successfully installed and am using CUDA on 1 EVGA RTX 2060. I am hoping to add a second card of the same model to increase processing power. My issue is I don't know if it's possible to run CUDA on more than one GPU even if they are the same model. I found a video going over how to set up more than one and have it use the same proprietary drivers, but anything regarding exactly what I'm trying to do was for older versions of Ubuntu.

Can anyone help?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
