Stuck on the login screen

bz flag

I have been trying to run Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

For some reason I cannot get past the password screen and I have tried many different things that I don't understand.

I tried entering GNU GRUB and did some things. I entered the BIOS and tried things and to make sure, did them 10 more times.

I am a total beginner so I expected to run into many troubles along the way but didn't expect not to be able to start the OS.

Edit your question to show us the complete output of `apt list ubuntu-desktop` and of `apt list openssh-server`
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
