Cannot connect to any other wifi networks except one? (Others hang on "connecting")

pr flag

Practically what the title says. Upon trying to connect to a wifi network that isn't my home one in this case, it doesn't seem to connect but hangs on "wifi connecting". In addition to this, it seems to repeatedly ask for the wifi network's password. I have tried using an Alfa AWUS036ACM wireless adapter but have had no luck. My main wireless card is an Intel one using default drivers.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
