I have a subnet that lives behind a strict filtering/fire-walling mechanism, I like for one machine only to access the outside world using either http/https or Socks5 forwarding stations that are exposed to this machine from outside the subnet.

Given available forwarding servers as below, what is the best way of filling out the form above so as many of the requests made make it to the outside world via the proxy servers.

Privoxy Config on remote station

listen-address 0.0.0.0:8888 #https?!! or http proxy?!

Torcc Config on remote station

SocksPort 0.0.0.0:9757 #Socks Proxy
HTTPTunnelPort 0.0.0.0:8889 #http proxy
## why tor for socks5 proxy? very long story, dont ask me.

I am well familiar with gsetting command method of setting of the proxy servers. I am only intrested in the GUI manner of filling the form i.e do I fill out every-box? do I only fill out the http? or socks? or all? what do I do about the DNS resolution then? as the the subnet router filters out all dns requests and eats the ones it does not like. how do I forward all dns over the proxies available to me?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
