DOSBox-X shows empty rectangles instead standard characters

al flag

I use Ubuntu Studio 22.04.1 LTS.

I installed DOSBox-X from the Software Center (Snap).

I just get this screen...

enter image description here

What's wrong here?

How can I fix this?

BTW: I can perfectly run the DOSBox (without "-X") app.

or you can use DOSBox instead.([install guide](https://pimylifeup.com/ubuntu-dosbox/))

The font that the window is trying to use is not installed, thus cannot be shown (*and the systems shows it as a box*). Either a config isn't ideal, it requires another font, or changing font uses fix. Sorry I rarely use `dosbox` & then only from terminal (ie. not the Xorg version).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
