External Monitor Not working properly with ubuntu 20.04 lts on acer Aspire 7

cd flag

I have acer Aspire 7 with intel i5 10th generation and NVIDIA 1650 graphics card. I have installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS but somehow I cannot switch to screen 2 properly. I have tried changing the nivida drivers. Currently nvidia driver version-470. With this the external monitor via the HDMI cable works fine when set to mirror mode, but as soon as I switch to display 2 only (which is the external monitor in my case), there is a significant lag in the display. I tried with other NVIDIA drivers and also the xorg one, but none of them is working. Is there any way to know which driver is suitable for my device?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
