Ubuntu 22.04.01 LTS - How to make a Snap application (ksnip) appear in "open with other application" context menu?

cn flag

This question has a valid answer here, except that the presented solution is not applicable in Ubuntu 22.04.01 LTS because in location /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications there is no ksnip_ksnip.desktop (ksnip installed via snap).

I have located a ksnip.desktop file in /usr/share/applications/org.ksnip.ksnip.desktop which I have copied to ~/.local/share/applications, but I don't understand where to make the necessary edits.

I am experiencing multiple apps installed via Snap not showing up in the "open with another app" context menu (ksnip, flameshot etc).

Question: How can I make snap-installed apps appear in the "open with another app" context menu in Ubuntu 22.04.01 LTS?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
