Backport WiFi Drivers

US flag

I'm very new to working with linux but I have a NVIDIA Jetson Nano, with the OS given that runs Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS and Kernel 4.9.253-tegra. I had an intel card working but I needed to upgrade to the Intel AX210 for work testing reasons. When doing this I started to learn I would need a backport driver because on the intel website linked below it says for the AX210 firmware you need kernel 5.10+. My question is in the firmware git tree with all the backport drivers I do not know which one will work for me to be able to use the AX210 with my setup (Kernel 4.9.253 and Ubuntu 18.04.6), and was wondering if anyone can explain how I would choose the correct driver. I tried to just upgrade Ubuntu to get the latest kernel and OS however the Jetson Nano does not run with that OS and is basically stuck on 18.04.6 unless I could do something custom which I do not have the capabilities to do at this pont. Thank you for any feedback, appreciate the help!

"on the intel website linked below it says for the AX210 firmware you need kernel 5.10+" Indeed you need *both* kernel version 5.10 or higher as well as the linked firmware file in order to get the AX210 to work. I am unaware of any method at all to get it to work with kernel version 4.9. Sorry.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
