Grub boots in MBR and can't find windows partition

jp flag

I had linux mint and kubuntu installed with grub on the kubuntu drive. I deleted linux mint and reformatted its drive and did grub-update to refresh the installed distros. Now when I go to boot it starts in MBR (I have it set in my bios to boot GPT) with grub 1 instead of 2. It starts by asking commands, I type exit and it shows the boot entrys. But windows is not part of them. Any clue how to fix this?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
