Bluetooth adapter not found on ubuntu 20.04

do flag

I am using Ubuntu 20.04 and have been trying to connect an external bluetooth dongle via USB. However, when I plug it in, nothing happens and it just shows "No Bluetooth adapters found". But when I do lsusb, it shows my bluetooth adapter. The adapter seems to work on windows. I have tried many fixes I found online but none seem to work. Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if any additional information is required. Thanks.

Can you add the `lsusb` line to your question? Especially the USB id would be interesting to see if the dongle may be actually unsupported.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
