Laptop with Ubuntu 20.04 does not detect 4K monitor via USB-C, Intel HD 620 Graphics

hr flag

I bought the 4k monitor and I haven't been able to connect it for a week.

The HDMI port can output only 30hz for 4k, so the only hope is the type-c port But I can't configure it in any way

My laptop Swift SF314-52, Intel HD 620 Graphics - in the documents for the laptop it is written that I can connect a monitor through the USB type-c - display port.

On my monitor Dell S2722QC - there is only an option to connect type-C - type-C. I don't know if this is the same as displayport connection.

This is the kernel log when connecting (sees it as a USB hub):

xrandr only shows my laptop screen

Please tell me where I should look to understand that the connection is possible or how can I set it up

(I installed drivers for DisplayLink - it didn't help, switched to xorg - also no, connected HDMI cable through an adapter to Type-C - no)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
