Battery indicator icon showing charging even though not plugged in

ph flag

Battery indicator showing as plugged in, although it is not. When I plug it in, it shows correctly. When I unplug it goes back to showing as plugged in but discharging. See screen shots

This happens quite often though I cannot reproduce it without any consistency. If I reboot it corrects itself.

Any ideas what to look for?

What I've resorted to doing is enabled the Show Battery Percentage on Icon which works properly whether plugged in or not. This way I can see if something is wrong and battery drops.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
