Battery Draining Rapidly on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS

de flag

Just yesterday, I clean installed Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS as my only OS. However, I am experiencing a sudden battery drain issues, and I am clueless the underlying reason for it.

While browsing the forum for this issue, I came across two different threads:

I even installed "TLP" as it was recommended by many Ubuntu forums. But none of these three could help much.

Example: The battery instantly drops from 81% to 60% or less in less than 5-10 seconds even when I am not using my laptop for any process-heavy activities.

Here's my system configuration for your perusal (if it could help anyone):

Requesting the folks here to suggest me workaround for this problem.

Cheers,

Manu

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
