Determinine how long ufw was disabled for?

cn flag

I booted my computer today and noticed that ufw was disabled.

I always keep ufw enabled with default deny incoming.

I am trying to determine when it was disabled.

I tried checking the logs using tail -2000 /var/log/ufw.log however the logs seem to be blank until the time stamp that I re-enabled.

Is there a way to check to see when it was disabled? I also need to check for evidence of the following:

  • a large file transfer that happened while it was disabled.
  • any activity on an ssh tunnel between a start time stamp and end time stamp
  • any attempts to connect to remote servers from my machine between 2 time stamps.

Any assistance people are willing to provide would be appreciated.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
