Mouse pointer disappears in Opera browser when on second display (but still affects links and objects)

gh flag

New Opera installation on 22.04. Mouse behaves perfectly fine on the primary monitor but when moving to the secondary monitor on a second Opera window, the pointer disappears. It is still able to click on links and objects, even appears when I right-click and stays visible until I left-click again.

This does not happen in any other context or application. The mouse displays fine in Firefox on all screens. For efficiency reasons, Opera is my go-to so swapping browsers is not a first choice.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
