Monitor won't go over 240hz

to flag

I've got a 360hz 1080p monitor running 22.04, but if I select either the 300hz or 360hz options, it goes through some "blackish" attempts, then reverts after some time to 240hz, at which point the display regains functionality.

The cable is a high datarate displayport cable, and when booted into Windows, the computer runs 360hz no problems at all. GPU is a 3070ti. Any idea what's up?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
