Grub-install fatal error when dual booting macOS and Ubuntu 20.04

nu flag

I've been trying to dual boot my MacBook Pro 2019 (2 usb-c ports) for the past week following every possible tutorial and method to avoid the error.

With or without rEFInd, by creating a partition for the EFI of Ubuntu manually, the error comes every time.

Basically I'm using Disk Utility to partition my Apple SSD with a MS-DOS (FAT) partition that I delete manually to create free space during the installation of Ubuntu. I then create the partitions for Ubuntu.

You specify "the error" twice, without specifying what "the error" is, when it occurs (during rEFInd installation, during Ubuntu installation, when booting the computer, etc.), or any other information that would help us to resolve the problem. Please clarify what you're doing; what's not working; when it's not working; and what symptoms, warnings, or error messages occur.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
