GNOME Software hangs after sleep on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and 20.04 LTS

jp flag

After my Ubuntu system goes to sleep, GNOME Software hangs on any network requiring action such as searching for updates or opening the application view page. This issue occurs on both Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS and 20.04 LTS with GNOME 42.5 and gnome-software 41.5. The only solution is to kill the process, after which everything returns to normal.

Also there is a closed issue on the GNOME Software GitLab, but there is currently no solution available: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/-/issues/578

I am looking for a way to disable the GNOME Software background process or any other solution to fix this problem. Any help is appreciated.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
