Headset doesn't work as expected on Ubuntu 22.04

cn flag

I have a Dell Vostro 3520 with Ubuntu 22.04 and my headset doesn't work as espected.

  • Gnome does not show the window to select the behavior of the headset (headset only, headset with mic...)
  • Configuration > Sound > Output doesn't show internal speakers when the headset is connected.
  • Configuration > Sound > Input doesn't show the mic as 'headset', it show as
'internal', it works and the volume is too low

The headset is a HyperX Cloud Stinger (it"s compatible with devices with CTIA standard connetor).

I've made a test with acpi_listen and it recognizes the connection

jack/headphone HEADPHONE plug
jack/microphone MICROPHONE plug
jack/headphone HEADPHONE unplug
jack/microphone MICROPHONE unplug

Does anybody knows why it does not work well?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
