apache and shibbolleth problem

bj flag

does anyone have experience with shibboleth? I'm trying to install it on my ubuntu server. I installed apache via the command sudo apt-get install apache2 started the service and it works. The moment I install shibboleth with sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-shib apache stops working. The Shibboleth service doesn't work either. There seems to be problems in the configuration despite having uninstalled and reinstalled the services several times. Can you help me? Thank you

There is *a lot more* to the installation of the identity provider than a pair of installation commands. You'll need to perform 25+ steps before the two systems will work together nicely. Could you [edit] your question to include the version of Ubuntu you're running, as well as a little more info as to how Shibboleth will be used (local network / public network)? This will make it much easier to provide an answer or point you in the right direction

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
