Issue with Ubuntu 22.04.01 on AWS EC2 Instance

ag flag

While trying to run

sudo apt update

but keep getting the following error:

W: Failed to fetch http://us-east-2.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jammy/InRelease Connection failed [IP: 52.15.159.198 80]
W: Failed to fetch http://us-east-2.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jammy-updates/InRelease Connection failed [IP: 52.15.158.54 80]
W: Failed to fetch http://us-east-2.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jammy-backports/InRelease Connection failed [IP: 52.15.107.13 80]
W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

It does not seem to be an issue network issue as I am to resolve and ping the DNS entries.

I tried the fixes on other posts but have not had any luck.

Having a similar problem today (July 21, 2023) ... did you resolve this? Seems like maybe the update server is just broken or busy.
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
