How to direct the audio output to the right device

bf flag

In my Ubuntu Desktop 22.10 the output audio is directed to the Nvidia graphic cards in the machine, with the result of no sound trhough the speakers, but the option does not show the one in the motherboard Asrock TRX40 Creator.

I have found the device listed as 2e:00.4 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] Starship/Matisse HD Audio Controller

So I guess I need to tell Linux the right audio device for output sound is this one.

Could anyone kindly direct me to the way of doing this?

Thanks so much! Jordi

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
