Wifi power management remains off for only a few seconds in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

aw flag

I've read many posts about how the wifi power management comes back on when the system restarts, but in my case this restarts only after a few seconds.

I used the commands: sudo iw wlan0 set power_save off

and iw wlan0 get power_save

and the reported status was correct: "Power save: off" but only for a few seconds. (in these seconds both the ping and the latency of the ssh terminal had improved)

my question is: what determines this behavior and how to fix it?

thx

What does this result in from terminal `cat /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf`
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
