Ubuntu 22.04: Getting DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG error every couple of days

de flag

Since about a month I get DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG every couple of days. I know how to fix it now:

rm /etc/resolv.conf
ln -s /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf
resolvconf -u

However, it is obviously annoying to have to do this over and over. Today, resolvconf wasn't present on the systems and I had to start a VPN client to reinstall it.

Is this a known bug? Does anyone have ideas for how to stop it from happening?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
