DNS Resolver lost after upgrade to 22.04

in flag

After upgrading one of my CLI servers from 20.04 to 22.04, the dns resolver does not work anymore. The upgrade itself finished without problem. Just I cannot even execute a host google.com anymore, or any other website.

How can I find the cause of this issue?

(a sub issue of this is that my docker containers now cannot connect to the dockerhub repository anymore, of course. But that should be solved as soon as dns works again).

Edit: probably duplicate of: How to set DNS on Ubuntu 22.04 when you have no netplan config?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
