How to manually give configuration file to top command?

sg flag

I know that top behaviour can be changed interactively and can be stored as a cfg file as toprc and it will use that cfg automatically. Is there a way to write and feed the configuration file (stored in different location) to top command as command line or by any ways.

In my case, I have to use a configuration file stored in my project directories and it shouldnt affect normal top behaviour.

As I mentioned in my other answer to your question, this is not possible with the current version of top.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
