permission denied when activating virtual environment

cn flag

When typing from local user the following command: 'source .env/bin/activate' returns 'bash: .env/bin/activate: Permission denied'

I can 'sudo bash' and then 'source .env/bin/activate' and that works fine, but I want it to do it from my user, not from root. How can that be fixed?

i found the following solution 'sudo chonw -R user:user '/path/to/venv', but somewhere read that might be problematic, I do not know why that may cause a problem
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
