Cannot re-order launch bar icons after upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04

lu flag

I've just upgraded to 22.04 jammy jellyfish, and I find that my favourites in my launch bar are reordered. Before, I cloud long-click on an icon and drag it to a new location in the launch bar, but now a long click just opens the context menu.

How do I reorder items in my launch bar?

Don't hold down quite so long. Hold and drag almost immediately. Start dragging as soon as the background of the icon illuminates.

Here's a video showing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tcgwz1S9pNM

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
