specify a mac address to ubuntu 20.04 kernel boot option during installation

mw flag

I am trying to deploy Ubuntu 20.04 with static ip configured on a specific ethernet port by using iPXE, I added the kernel boot options as:

BOOT=casper ip=10.240.210.31::10.240.210.1:255.255.254.0::::10.96.1.18 hwaddress=54:05:db:7b:9f:a5

The 54:05:db:7b:9f:a5 is the mac address of the ethernet port which I want to use for deploying Ubuntu OS. After booting the initramfs, I found the static ip are configured to all the ethernet ports, the hwaddress=54:05:db:7b:9f:a5 didn't work as I expected. Can anyone tell me how to set static ip to a specified port by using its mac address?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
