How APT finds a package from a repository?

cw flag

I am currently using an AWS ec2 instance ubuntu 20.04. When i am checking the /etc/apt/sources.list file, i can see the the repositories in the below format,

deb http://us-east-1.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ focal main restricted

from the man page i understood that this is in the form

Type: deb
URI: http://us-east-1.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
Suite: focal
Components: main restricted

Can someone please explain how the package manager APT finds a package using the above details?

A similar question was asked previously - please check out if it provides the desired info. And also possibly, see the [Debian Repository documentation](https://wiki.debian.org/DebianRepository/Format).
I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
