Turn off screen keyboard when using touchscreen

in flag

Screen keyboard always show up every time I tap on a blank space or input field on the touch screen on my laptop. I've already turned off screen keyboard in settings -> accessibility -> screen keyboard, but the screen keyboard still keeps showing up. I have to tap on the ˇ button to close the screen keyboard every time. Is there any way to turn off the screen keyboard for good? enter image description here

I use the Gnome extension Block Caribou, it's always worked for me (currently on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS and Gnome 42.5).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
