Icons from i3bar are absent even though the processes are running

kg flag

I am using Regolith (an i3-based WM) on Ubuntu 22.10. I recently removed the python3 package inadvertently (don't ask how), but after I had reinstalled regolith-desktop, the i3bar only shown my widgets (time and battery), all the icons have disappeared.

Using ps we can see the processes running. Software such as flameshot, kdocker, nm-applet are running but absent from the bar.

There is surely something to change in the configuration or a package that was not reconfigured properly.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
