How can I set a standard Sound Output for Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS

Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS resets my Sound Output to "Digital Output (S/PDIF) - USB Audio" at every restart.

Is there a way to set a standard Sound Output for Ubuntu 22.04?

In Ubuntu Desktop:

  • Run Settings
  • Go to Sound→Output→Output Device
  • Select appropriate device from drop down list

If you don't see your device in the list you may set it by modifying /etc/pulse/default.pa file.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
